Strategic Oversight Committee – a committee led by the Associate Dean for Diversity & Faculty Development, which works with department chairs and search committees to enhance faculty recruitment and hiring practices.
Ephrahim Garcia Engineering Society - provides advice to the dean on issues/concerns of diversity such as recruiting, mentoring, and tenure and promotion of under-represented faculty.
Women in Science and Engineering Faculty Group - supports and encourages engineering women faculty through mentoring, development opportunities, policy advocacy and educational programs, promotes the recruitment and promotion of women faculty.
Awards and Travel Funding - offers support for participation in conferences and professional events providing the opportunity to contribute to Diversity recruiting efforts.
Outreach Opportunities - a means for collaboration on outreach and broader impacts activities including but not limited to leading research projects for the CURIE & CATALYST Academies, hosting lab demonstrations during recruitment events, serving as research mentors for CU LSAMP-REU, etc.
Faculty & Graduate Student Holiday Reception – an annual event focused on providing faculty and graduate students the opportunity to celebrate the end of the fall semester and interact in a relaxed environment.
